Job summary

Access Community Health is seeking Kaiāwhina for in-home support across the Auckland community. You will assist clients with daily living activities, uphold safety and person-centered care, and respect each person’s culture and routines. Training is provided to help you succeed.

Roles offer flexible hours to fit study, family, or other commitments, with weekend shifts available and a $1.00 extra per hour. You’ll be supported to grow in a values-driven, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications or prior experience required.
• Ability to support individuals with daily living activities in their own homes.
• Must be able to follow care plans, respect cultures, values and routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered support in clients' homes.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility as needed.
• Be mindful of what matters to each person, including culture and boundaries.
• Participate in training and development to support your role.
