Job summary

Access Community Health is hiring Kaiāwhina to provide in-home support, enabling people to live independently. You will assist with daily living activities in a compassionate, culturally safe manner and follow person-centred care plans.

No formal qualifications are required, and comprehensive paid training is provided. Flexible hours and weekend shifts with a small hourly uplift support work-life balance in our community-focused team.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications or prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support tāngata with individual care needs and daily living activities in people’s homes.
• Provide safe, respectful, person-centred support, mindful of culture, values and routines.
• Follow training and work with a buddy trainer as needed.
