Job summary

Access Community Health in Auckland is hiring Kaiāwhina to support people in their own homes. You’ll help with daily living activities, provide safe, respectful, person-centered care, and honor each person’s culture, values, routines and boundaries.

No formal qualifications or prior experience are required. We offer comprehensive training, flexible hours to fit study or family commitments, and weekend shifts with extra pay along with travel time and mileage compensation.

Qualifications

• No qualifications or prior experience required.
• Care in clients' homes with cultural sensitivity.
• Must own a smartphone and have right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Support tāngata with individual care needs and daily living activities in clients' homes.
• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered support aligned to what matters to the person, including culture, routines and boundaries.
• Participate in paid training and ongoing development.
