Job summary

CCS Disability Action in Flaxmere is seeking a Community Support Worker to provide wraparound support to a young person with complex needs, alongside their family in a whānau-centred approach.

We look for someone with Disability Sector experience, a Level 3/4 in Health & Wellbeing or equivalent, and a full driving licence. The role offers 8–10 hours per week with some weekend coverage and potential for extra hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Disability Sector is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated reliability and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide wraparound support to a young person with complex needs.
• Work with family to build strengths and achieve goals in a whānau-centered way.
• Be flexible with hours and be available for the scheduled shifts and additional hours as needed.
