Job summary

Healthvision NZ is seeking a Community Support Worker to assist residents in Whangarei and surrounding areas with personal cares, meal preparation, and community access. The role is based in the community and requires compassionate, reliable team players who can adapt to rotating rosters.

Qualifications

• Prior personal care experience preferred.
• Access to a car and a valid NZ driver’s license.
• Ability to drive a mobility van (training provided).
• Legally eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares (showering, bathing).
• Assisting with household management and meal preparation.
• Supporting exercise programmes.
• Assisting with accessing the community.
• Medication support.
• Moving and handling hoists and transfers.
