Job summary

Te Taihāhā in New Zealand is seeking a devoted support worker to assist clients with personal care, meals, light housework, and medication oversight.

You will work within a warm, whānau‑centred team that values culture, community involvement, and ongoing learning through NZQA‑level qualifications, with regular team activities.

Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid work permit and a clean driver’s licence with own transport.

Qualifications

• Must have clean and valid driver’s license and own transport.
• Eligible to work in NZ.
• Disability support sector experience is advantageous (Level 2 & 3 HSW Support).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal cares, showering, feeding and medication oversight.
• Support in the home with basic household duties, meal preparation and shopping.
• Tech savvy – able to use leave applications, online timesheets and training portals.
• Strong communicators and committed to building sound working relationships.
