Hutt City Council is seeking a dedicated Parking Warden to help keep Lower Hutt moving safely and fairly. You will patrol areas, educate the public on parking rules, respond to enquiries and enforce bylaws with fairness and respect.

The role involves operating the mobile Licence Plate Recognition vehicle, planning patrols, and contributing to road safety while supporting a friendly, close-knit team.

Aufgaben

• Promote compliance with parking bylaws and relevant legislation.
• Educate the public and use discretion to achieve positive outcomes.
• Issue infringement notices and investigate abandoned vehicles.
• Drive and operate the mobile LPR vehicle.
• Plan patrol routes to maximise time in the community.
• Respond to public enquiries professionally.
• Assist with administrative duties and provide evidence at Court if required.
