Job summary

Our client is one of New Zealand’s best-known and award-winning Architecture and Design practices. They are looking for a Communications Specialist to join their team, based either in Auckland or Wellington or Christchurch.

As Communications Specialist, you will take the lead in the external and internal communications for the practice as well as contribute to information management processes. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of outputs that align with our practice values - including writing and coordinating RFP and tender submissions, awards submissions, social media, and internal and client engagement.

You will be a confident communicator with 3-6 years of relevant professional experience and a background in architecture, art, design, writing, journalism or the building industry. You might be from a comms background with a good graphic sensibility or from a graphics background with an established communications skillset. You will have a keen eye for detail, a strong focus on narrative and a willingness to engage with a broad range of written and visual collateral. Strong graphic and visual sensibility to support written communications with Experience with Adobe CC is a must. Experience in the architecture or design industry is preferred.
