Job summary

Suncorp NZ is seeking a Commercial Motor Claims Consultant to own the end-to-end claims journey for commercial customers, balancing advocacy with commercial outcomes. You will collaborate with customers, brokers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver fair and efficient results.

The role focuses on informed decision-making, cost management, and adherence to policy and governance, in a fast-paced environment aimed at exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, claims, insurance, or another outcome-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial motor claims from lodgement through to resolution, taking ownership of the customer experience.
• Build strong relationships with customers, brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver timely outcomes.
• Make informed decisions, manage claim costs and ensure alignment with policy and governance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and customer experience.
