Job summary

Mondiale VGL is seeking a senior FP&A leader to drive forecasting, budgeting and planning across the group, partnering with the CFO and regional leaders to inform strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with regional teams to improve accuracy, analyze variances, and deliver actionable insights that shape capital and operating plans across a globally connected logistics network.

Qualifications

• CA qualification and tertiary accounting background.
• 3+ years in FP&A or business partnering within a complex, multi-region environment.
• Strong financial modelling skills (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and a genuine curiosity for what drives business performance.
• The confidence to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders — and the collaborative mindset to bring people along with you.
• Sharp analytical thinking paired with the ability to project-manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the roadmap, processes, and tools for integrated planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the whole Group.
• Partner directly with the Group CFO and regional CFOs to build forecasting that genuinely guides Executive and regional leadership decisions.
• Work alongside regional finance teams to continuously improve forecasting accuracy and the processes behind it.
• Dig into material variances — not just flag them, but get to the root cause and turn that into a proactive improvement opportunity.
• Build genuine, trusted relationships with regional Finance teams at every level.
• Use financial and non-financial data — internal and external — to build a real understanding of business performance, not just a report of it.
• Drive insight through cost-to-serve, volume/product/customer mix analysis, root cause work, and benchmarking against leading practice.
• Evaluate capital expenditure business cases and help the business build strong strategic investment cases.
