Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join a fully remote team. You will design, migrate, and optimize scalable cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, focusing on security, cost efficiency, and reliability for enterprise clients.

You will lead migrations, guide development and operations teams, create proofs-of-concept, and stay current with cloud innovations while translating business requirements into robust technical designs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or similar role.
• Expertise across at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of networking and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Relevant cloud certifications are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud computing, including new services and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful cloud implementations.
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP), including a wide range of services (compute, storage, networking, databases, security).
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
