Job summary

Randstad New Zealand is looking for a technically strong engineer to champion cloud-based platforms, with a strong emphasis on Azure and Cloudfare and day-2 operations experience.

You will own the development, deployment and ongoing support for multiple cloud environments, using infrastructure-as-code, pipelines and automation, and you will collaborate closely with development, test and release teams to optimise performance and reliability across the platform.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying and supporting cloud environments.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, pipelines, and automation.
• Strong SQL and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Excellent communication bridging tech and business.

Responsibilities

• Own build, deployment, and support for multiple cloud environments.
• Support product lifecycles with IaC, pipelines, and automation.
• Monitor and enhance application, platform, and infra monitoring.
• Collaborate with development, test, and release teams.
• Refine resources based on performance testing.
