Job summary
Optic Digital is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Auckland team. You will work across operations, service delivery and continuous improvement, engineering, automating, monitoring, and supporting cloud and hybrid platforms.
You’ll own problems through diagnosis and remediation and lead production adoption of new capabilities. The role requires strong hands-on Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Terraform), plus deep knowledge of Azure networking and related services.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Azure cloud experience
- Hands-on in Azure DevOps, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform)
- Knowledge of Azure networking (VNet, subnets, routing, DNS, NSG)
- Experience with Azure Front Door, CDN, App Gateway
- Experience deploying and securing Azure VMs
- Experience with Entra ID app management and secret management
- RBAC and privileged access understanding
Responsibilities
- Sit across operations, service delivery and continuous improvement activities
- Design, automate, monitor, and support cloud and hybrid platforms
- Own technical problems through diagnosis, remediation, and root-cause analysis
- Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and IaC
- Lead controlled proofs of concepts and production adoption of new capabilities
- Maintain documentation
