Job summary

Alden Rosedale Village on Auckland's North Shore is seeking an experienced Clinical Services Manager to lead the clinical team and uphold exceptional care standards across the facility.

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will balance hands-on clinical oversight with team leadership, quality improvement, accreditation readiness, and resident-centred care in a thriving aged care community, requiring NZ Nursing Council registration, APC, and at least three years in a senior RN role.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid APC.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a senior Registered Nurse position within New Zealand.
  • Previous experience in a clinical leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of aged care and clinical best practice.
  • Sound understanding of quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • InterRAI experience or training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting the nursing and caregiving teams.
  • Overseeing clinical governance, quality systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensuring residents receive safe, personalised, and high-quality care.
  • Coaching and mentoring staff to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Partnering with residents, families, GPs, and allied health professionals.
  • Monitoring care planning, assessments, and clinical documentation.
