We are looking for a confident and approachable Clinical Nurse Lead to join a well established aged care facility in South Auckland, supporting a diverse environment across rest home, hospital, dementia, psychiatric and ACC care.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being visible and actively involved with their team. You will provide clinical leadership to a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, working closely with the Care Home Manager and wider clinical support team. Therefore you will need to bring with you proven experience leading a team and delivering positively on outcomes.
This is not a role for someone looking to sit behind a desk. You will be an important presence within the facility, supporting your team and helping create consistency, confidence and positive change.
The environment is diverse, with a particularly interesting mix of aged care and ACC clients. It will suit a leader who enjoys variety, can build strong relationships, provide clear direction and bring out the best in their team, while bringing structure and positive leadership to the role.
You will be well supported by an experienced Care Home Manager and wider clinical team, with opportunities for professional development, leadership training and further study.
You will need to be highly visible, able to manage a challenging environment and a culture that needs structure and new fresh initiatives to cultivate a positive cohesive work place.
