Job summary

The Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers is seeking a full-time clinic receptionist to support patient experience and daily operations. You will welcome patients, manage reception, scheduling, and billing, and assist clinicians with routine tasks.

Ideal candidates are detail-focused, well-organised, and calm in a busy clinic. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with salary from $65,000+ depending on experience and potential sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception/administration in healthcare is preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy clinic.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional first impression
• Managing appointments, phone calls, emails and daily scheduling
• Maintaining accurate patient records and completing billing and administrative tasks
• Providing chairside or clinical assistance when required
• Managing multiple tasks and changing priorities throughout the day
• Helping keep the clinic organised, efficient and running on time
• Supporting clinicians and wider team with day-to-day clinic tasks
