Job summary

WTW is seeking a Client Executive to contribute to the management and growth of a client portfolio, identifying risk management and insurance needs, and building strong relationships with clients and underwriters. The role also supports Senior Brokers and ensures high-quality client documentation and processes.

The position emphasizes client servicing, renewal preparation, claims support, and compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) General Insurance or willingness to work towards this.
• Sound oral and written communication skills both on an individual and small group basis.
• Excellent report writing and correspondence skills.
• Ability to take notes and record meeting minutes
• Ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• A team player with the ability to demonstrate credibility and gain trust.
• Proficient in all MS Office products.
• Experience using eGlobal is desired but not essential
• Good understanding of internet and intranet applications and usage.
• Degree qualified in any discipline (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Prepare client documentation and invoices, e.g., renewal questionnaires, quote slips, client manuals, and premium funding quotes.
• Ensure 100% accuracy of documentation and obtain approval before distribution.
• Support Senior Brokers in managing larger clients’ insurance, risk management and programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients and stakeholders, representing WTW professionally.
• Maintain comprehensive client data, including meeting notes and minutes on WTW systems.
• Compare renewal terms, negotiate with underwriters, and advise on changes.
• Coordinate with offshore Operations (Mumbai) for documentation delivery.
• Liaise with Operations to resolve issues and suggest improvements.
• Respond to client claims enquiries and advise on the claims process.
• Manage workflow and diary systems, ensuring claims standards and timely settlements.
• Maintain CPD plan and contribute to new business targets and pipeline quality.
• Ensure premium funding offered to all clients and enforce terms of trade.
