Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking a Client Executive to manage a portfolio of clients, building relationships with clients and insurance partners while supporting Senior Brokers in Wellington. The role focuses on servicing, documentation, claims assistance, and renewal presentations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely correspondence, and collaboration with underwriters, the offshore team, and internal stakeholders to meet regulatory and client expectations. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

  • NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) General Insurance or willingness to work towards this.
  • Quick learner and willing to take on additional duties.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent report writing and correspondence skills.
  • Ability to take notes and record meeting minutes.
  • Ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Team player with credibility and trust.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with eGlobal is desirable.
  • Good understanding of internet and intranet applications.
  • Degree qualified in any discipline (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare client documentation and invoices for renewals and quotes.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of documentation and obtain approvals prior to distribution.
  • Support Senior Brokers in managing larger clients' insurance and risk programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive client data and meeting minutes in WTW systems.
  • Compare renewal terms, negotiate with underwriters and inform Senior Broker of changes.
  • Collaborate with offshore Operations Support to prepare and deliver documentation.
  • Liaise with Operations to address issues and suggest improvements.
  • Respond to client claims enquiries and advise on the claims process.
  • Manage workflow and diary systems to achieve timely settlements.
  • Maintain CPD plan and contribute to new business targets.
  • Ensure pipeline accuracy and premium funding is offered to all clients.

Description

The Client Executive will effectively contribute to the management and growth of a portfolio of clients ensuring assisting to ensure their risk management and insurance needs are identified and met. This will be a client facing role and the Client Executive will be able to build relationships with clients and insurance partners. The role will also provides assistance to Senior brokers. as and when required.

Key areas of accountability will include all aspects of client servicing, including preparation of client documentation, assistance with claims management, client database management and liaison with underwriters and renewal presentations.

The Role

  • Prepare client documentation and invoices, for example, renewal questionnaires, quote slips, client insurance manuals, and premium funding quotes.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of documentation prepared and obtain approval for all client documentation prior to distribution.
  • Provide support to Senior Brokers in managing larger clients' insurance, risk management and programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients and other key stakeholders (internal and external), representing WTW in a professional manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive client data, including meeting notes and minutes on WTW systems, facilities and databases
  • Compare renewal terms with the previous year, negotiate with underwriter and advise the Senior Broker of any changes.
  • Work in conjunction with the offshore Operations Support team (Mumbai) to ensure the preparation and delivery of documentation.
  • Liaise with Operations on any issues the team may have and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Respond to client claims enquiries and provide advice on the claims process.
  • Manage workflow and diary systems, ensuring agreed claims standards are achieved and timely settlement of claims.
  • Undertake and maintain a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plan
  • Contribute to the overall achievement of the new business target annually for the team.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of the pipeline on a regular basis.
  • Ensure premium funding is offered to all clients, debtor collections in accordance with terms of trade and no client placements outside of approved insurers.
  • Achieve and maintain compliance with the relevant legislative requirements
Qualifications

  • Experience using eGlobal is desired but not essential
  • Good understanding of internet and intranet applications and usage.
  • Degree qualified in any discipline (preferred but not required)
