Bastion Aotearoa invites a proactive Business Manager to join our Auckland team, shaping exceptional client experiences. You’ll run day-to-day engagements, manage delivery, translate client needs into briefs, and ensure work is executed to a high standard.

You’ll bring strong organisational and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine interest in great creative work. The role is client-facing in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business, design, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of agency experience leading accounts with multi-channel outputs.
• Develop commercial awareness with financial management of projects.
• Strong integrated account management and end-to-end delivery capability.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted client relationships and act as a day-to-day contact across projects.
• Manage day-to-day running of assigned projects.
• Translate client needs into clear briefs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
• Prepare accurate project estimates, manage budgets and POs, and support monthly billing and reporting.
• Anticipate challenges, solve problems proactively, and keep communication clear across stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, delivery quality and team capability.
