Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Christchurch is seeking a reliable cleaner for full-time night shifts, Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. You will perform cleaning in commercial environments, operate floor scrubbers and burnishers, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Applicants must have valid New Zealand work rights, be 18+, and be willing to travel up to twice yearly. Excellent English communication and customer service skills are essential, with a focus on reliability, punctuality, and safe

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers and burnishers.
• Experience in window cleaning with glove and blade.
• Is confident working at heights.
• Travel outside Christchurch up to twice per year.
• Full and valid Driver’s Licence required.
• Follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be 18+ due to H&S policies.
• English speaking and comprehension are required.

The Role

We have Full time position available, with shifts as follows:

Sunday-Thursday: 10:00PM-6:30AM

Hourly rates: $33

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment
• Experience in using floor scrubbers and burnishers.
• Experience in window cleaning with glove and blade.
• Is confident working at heights.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• Must be available to travel outside of Christchurch when required for work purposes (typically no more than twice per year).
• Full and valid Driver’s Licence required.
• The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
• You must be 18+ due to Company H&S policies.
• All communications including training and health & safety instructions are in English only. You must have good English speaking and comprehension skills.
