Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking enthusiastic part-time cleaners for our New Brighton, Christchurch team. You will perform general cleaning duties to a high standard in fast-paced environments, with attention to detail and a focus on creating welcoming spaces for clients and customers.

Shifts run Monday-Friday from 22:00 to 01:15 with an hourly rate of NZD 26.00. You must have valid NZ work rights, reliable transportation, and good English language skills to fulfill health and safety

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cleaning experience in a commercial environment is advantageous.
• Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and reliable, punctual work habits.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Spot cleaning of furnishings and surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Toilet cleaning and rubbish removal.
• Clean glass both inside and outside.
• Dust all hard surfaces.
• Clean pools, showers, toilets and bathroom facilities.

Millennium have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at New Brighton, Christchurch!

This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.

We have Part time position available, with shifts as follows:

Monday-Friday: 2200-0015

Hourly rates: $26.00

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
• Spot cleaning of furnishings
• Sweeping and mopping
• Toilet cleaning.
• Rubbish collection
• Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
• Dusting of all hard surfaces
• Cleaning pools, showers, toilets and bathroom facilities.

About You

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment would be an advantage.
• Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
• The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• Must have a reliable transportation and a valid Driver's license.
• You must be 18+ due to Company H&S policies.
• All communications including training and health & safety instructions are in English only. You must have good English speaking and comprehension skills.
• This role covers detail cleaning of toilets, bathrooms, glass, surface, scrubbing, including showers.
• You must be fit and healthy – as this role covers detail cleaning of toilets, bathrooms, glass, surface, scrubbing, including showers.

You must have valid work rights in New Zealand.
