Job summary

Radius Care in New Plymouth is seeking a part-time cleaning assistant to ensure the facility remains ship-shape, clean and hygienic, creating a comfortable environment for residents.

Duties include cleaning resident and communal areas, applying infection control measures, restocking PPE and supplies, and completing checklists. Weekend work and public holidays are required; training and staff support are provided.

Location:RadiusThornleigh Park, 25 Heta Rd, Highlands Park, New Plymouth

Hours of work:16.5 hours per week, over a rotating roster. Must be able to work weekends and public holidays.

Note: Radius Care cannot support a work visa/visa change for this role. Visa-holders must have an open work visa, with at least 6 months left before expiry. We are not hiring candidates living outside New Zealand for this role.

About the role

Ensure the facility is ship-shape, clean and hygienic. Provide an efficient, effective cleaning service. Assist in creating a comfortable, healthy environment for residents, while considering their wellbeing and individual needs.

Duties include

• Cleaning resident and communal areas
• Utilising appropriate infection control measures
• Restocking paper products, personal protective equipment (PPE), personal hygiene items
• Completing check lists and signing off on all tasks
