Job summary

Radius Care in Christchurch is seeking caring professionals to provide exceptional care to residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, working with a team to implement individual care plans.

Full training is provided to help you succeed. Responsibilities include personal cares, timely completion of tasks, responding to resident requests, maintaining health records, and smooth handovers at shift changes.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent) AND 1 year of relevant caregiving experience.
• People skills and empathy for our residents and their families.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts.
• Dementia care experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner

Location:RadiusHawthorne, 10 St Winifreds Place, Bryndwr, Christchurch

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, over a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay rate: $30.87 per hour, subject to completed Level 4 caregiving qualification (or equivalent)

About the role:
