Job summary

Radius Thornleigh Park in New Plymouth is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our team. You’ll help keep the facility ship-shape, clean and hygienic, with a focus on residents’ wellbeing.

This part-time role is 16.5 hours per week on a rotating roster, requiring weekend and public holiday work. Training and NZQA qualification support are provided, along with access to staff discounts and a supportive team environment.

Currently we have 25 locations nationwide, employing over 1800 staff and providing professional aged care for more than 1700 residents. Location: Radius Thornleigh Park, 25 Heta Rd, Highlands Park, New Plymouth

Hours of work: 16.5 hours per week, over a rotating roster. Must be able to work weekends and public holidays.

Note: Radius Care cannot support a work visa/visa change for this role. Visa-holders must have an open work visa, with at least 6 months left before expiry. We are not hiring candidates living outside New Zealand for this role.

About the role: Ensure the facility is ship-shape, clean and hygienic. Provide an efficient, effective cleaning service. Assist in creating a comfortable, healthy environment for residents, while considering their wellbeing and individual needs.

Duties include:

• Cleaning resident and communal areas
• Utilising appropriate infection control measures
• Restocking paper products, personal protective equipment (PPE), personal hygiene items
• Completing check lists and signing off on all tasks
