Job summary

AWF Limited in Wanaka is seeking a reliable cleaner to maintain public facilities. This short-term assignment may lead to ongoing work for the right person, with a company vehicle provided to travel between sites and weekly pay.

You will clean and service amenities, restock supplies, and report safety concerns while working mostly independently in the Wanaka region.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public facilities across Wanaka.
• Service amenities, ensuring facilities are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Restock consumables and supplies as required.
• Empty rubbish bins and maintain surrounding areas.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Drive between sites using a company-provided vehicle.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated cleaner to assist with maintaining public facilities throughout Wanaka. What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning and maintaining public facilities across Wanaka
• Servicing amenities and ensuring facilities are clean, tidy, and welcoming
• Restocking consumables and supplies as required
• Emptying rubbish bins and maintaining surrounding areas
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Following cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures
• Driving between sites using a company-provided vehicle

What You Need

• A current and valid New Zealand driver's licence
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleaning standards
• Physical fitness and the ability to work on your feet throughout the day
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential
