Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking a part-time Cleaner (Facilities Operator) to help maintain parks, playgrounds and public spaces across Queenstown Lakes District, including Wanaka. You will report to the team manager and perform outdoor cleaning tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have a full clean driver's licence (manual vehicle), enjoy outdoor work and demonstrate a strong work ethic with good teamwork. Drug test may be required pre-employment.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driver's licence with ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Desire to work in an outdoor, physical role with good fitness.
• High health and safety awareness and commitment to company policies.

What does a Cleaner (Facilities Operator) do you ask?

Reporting to the team manager, you will be responsible for various duties including, but not limited to, rubbish collection and disposal, cleaning of public amenities such as barbeques and bus stops, and general maintenance and cleaning of certain public bathrooms across the Queenstown Lakes District and also could include supporting our horticulture team with gardening or asset inspections as required.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A full, clean full driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
• The desire to work in an outdoor, physical role - a good level of fitness is required!
• A high health and safety awareness with a commitment to adhering to our company policies and procedures
• An awesome work ethic, self-motivation and be able to work well within a team
• Previous experience in a similar role/environment is preferred but not essential
