Job summary

Citycare Property is recruiting two cleaners to support Burnham Military Camp. You will help keep offices, accommodation blocks and facilities clean, while using scrubbers, buffers and polishers with full training provided.

The role requires a reliable team member who can follow schedules, handle cleaning chemicals safely and maintain high standards on a busy site. NZ work eligibility and safety checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working in commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
• Willingness to learn operating commercial cleaning machinery such as scrubbers, buffers and polishers.
• Strong team focus and reliability in a busy site.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, accommodation blocks, amenities and shared facilities on site.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment (scrubbers, buffers, polishers) as directed.
• Deliver a consistently high standard of cleaning across the camp facilities.
• Follow cleaning schedules and site procedures to ensure consistency and safety.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and store them according to regulations.
• Work with teammates to maintain tidy, safe and presentable spaces.
• Adhere to health, safety, quality and environmental standards and expectations.

Citycare Property is looking for two experienced Cleaners to join our team at Burnham Military Camp.

As part of the team supporting one of New Zealand's largest military bases, you'll help keep facilities clean, safe, and ready for the NZDF personnel who live and work on site.

This role involves operating a range of commercial cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, and polishers. Full training will be provided, but you'll need to be comfortable learning to use machinery as part of your day-to-day work.

You'll bring:

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is ideal
• Experience using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
• Confidence using, or willingness to learn to operate, commercial cleaning machinery such as scrubbers, buffers, and polishers.
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• A willingness to roll your sleeves up and help wherever needed
• The ability to work efficiently and stay on top of your tasks
• Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards
• A commitment to health and safety
• A Full Class 1 Driver Licence

You’ll also need to be eligible to work in New Zealand, pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and Criminal Record Check, and meet NZDF security requirements.
