Job summary

Remarkable People Limited in Kaikoura is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and provide high-quality cleaning services for three commercial sites, 12–15 hours per week with night shifts outside normal business hours.

Candidates must be based in Kaikoura, able to pass English tests and drug checks, have own car and a valid license, and be ready to work independently while adhering to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping, ideally within a commercial or corporate setting.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to follow instructions.
• Be based in Kaikoura and available for night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising across a variety of commercial premises.
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Replenish consumable supplies as needed.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the supervisory team.
• Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
