Job summary

East Tamaki Rubani Holdings Limited is seeking a permanent, full‑time Class 5 truck driver for swinglift-equipped operations in Auckland. You will move containers between port, depot and customer sites, with occasional longer runs across the Upper North Island.

Role includes vehicle checks, load securing and adhering to road rules, fatigue management and shift patterns from 4:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Saturday. Training provided for safety and documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in transport, freight, logistics or warehouse operations.
• (NZ) Class 5 licence required or obtainable before start.
• Current DG endorsement or ability to obtain it before start.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver containers and freight between port, depot and customer sites; driving is primary.
• Operate swinglift safely to load/unload containers.
• Complete checks, secure loads, report defects and incidents.
• Coordinate daily work and keep customers informed of arrivals/delays.
• Maintain run sheets and pass records to accounts for invoicing.
