Job summary

Rubani Holdings Limited is seeking one permanent, full-time driver for its swinglift-equipped Class 5 truck and trailer in Auckland. The role covers 20/40-foot containers and related freight primarily in Auckland and the Upper North Island, with occasional longer runs as allocated.

The job includes driving, loading/unloading with swinglift, and maintaining accurate records, with shifts 4:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Saturday. Pay is $52.50 per hour, with 32–40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Two years’ relevant work experience in transport, freight, logistics or warehouse operations.
• Current NZ Class 5 driver licence, or Class 4 with ability to obtain Class 5 before starting.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver containers and other freight between port, depot and customer sites.
• Operate swinglift equipment safely to load and unload containers.
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks, secure loads, and report defects or hazards.
• Transport dangerous goods as required, following safe handling and documentation rules.
• Coordinate collections and deliveries within management priorities and keep customers informed.
