Job summary

NZ Labour Hire is seeking a hardworking driver in Hastings, Hawke's Bay for full-time, permanent work. The role involves transporting excavators, piling equipment and precast concrete, loading and moving heavy machinery, and performing routine vehicle checks.

The position requires a current Class 5 licence, 2+ years of Class 5 experience, forklift and OSH certificates, plus experience with various trucks and manual gearboxes. 40+ hours per week, on-site in Hastings.

Qualifications

• Current Class 5 licence is required.
• 2+ years of Class 5 experience.
• Forklift and OSH certificates are required.
• Experience with different types of trucks is essential.
• Ability to drive a Road Ranger/manual gearbox.

Responsibilities

• Transport excavators, piling equipment and precast concrete.
• Load and transport heavy machinery.
• Check and maintain the truck.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Help with labour work when needed.
