You must hold a NZ Class 5 license, have 3–5 years of heavy vehicle experience, be physically fit, and reside in New Zealand. This is a full-time, contract/temporary position with urgent start.

Qualifications

• NZ Class 5 Driver's License in good standing.
• 3–5 years of heavy vehicle experience, ideally in steel, construction, or engineering.
• Ability to reverse in tight spaces.
• Physical fitness to handle chaining down heavy steel structures.
• Reliable, punctual on-site presence with consistent hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 5 heavy combination vehicles – steel work.
• Secure heavy steel loads using chains and NZTA-compliant restraints.
• Labour duties: assist manufacturing team; load and unload; be on your feet for portions of the shift when not driving.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and crane teams for seamless loading/unloading.
• Complete pre-start checks, maintain logbooks, and uphold site health and safety protocols.
