Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Class 5 Driver for our Palmerston North branch to support collections and deliveries for our key customer. You will play a vital role in timely, safe freight handling and accurate scanning to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, on-time delivery, and upholding safety standards. Applicants must have a full NZ Class 5 license; additional endorsements and forklift certification are desirable.

Qualifications

• Full NZ Class 5 license is required.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement is ideal but not mandatory.
• Forklift license with OSH certification is ideal.
• Customer-focused attitude with reliable communication.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver to join our Palmerston North branch to assist with collections and deliveries with one of our key customers.

Shift: Monday – Friday, approx. 6.30am start, minimum 45 hours per week

About The Role - Mō Te Tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.


• Ensure freight is handled without damage.


• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.


• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.


• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures


• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.


• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License - must have
