Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our Invercargill branch. You will start at night, swap units in Hampden, then return to Invercargill, loading, scanning, and delivering freight on time and in full.

The role requires a full NZ Class 5 license with Dangerous Goods endorsement, a forklift OSH certificate, and strong safety and teamwork skills. Pre-employment checks apply and work is in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License is required.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement required.
• Forklift License with OSH cert required.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with B-Train and Truck & Trailer on NZ roads.

Responsibilities

• Load and reload freight safely.

We’re on the hunt for a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our Invercargill branch.

Shift: Monday – Friday, approx. 8pm start with minimum 10 hour shift

About the role - Mō te tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. You’ll be starting the night in Invercargill, going through to Hampden for a unit swap, then back through to the Invercargill depot.

What you’ll do:

• Load and reload freight safely.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight.
• If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
