Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Class 5 Driver to support our Wellington branch with collections and deliveries for a key customer. The role runs Monday–Friday with a 7pm start and minimum 10 hours per day.

Requirements include a NZ Class 5 license with DG endorsement and a strong safety mindset. Pre-employment checks apply; candidates must be eligible to work in NZ.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clean NZ Class 5 license with DG endorsement.
• Forklift license with OSH certification is preferred.
• Customer-focused with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight; if you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Participate in safety processes and keep vehicle clean.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver to join our Wellington branch to assist with collections and deliveries with one of our key customers.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7pm start, minimum 10 hours per day

Note: Flexibility required to work public holidays or weekend days if there’s a need.

About The Role - Mō Te Tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. Holding your Class 5 license with D&G is crucial to being able to fulfill this role successfully.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload freight safely by hand.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License - must have
