Job summary

Team Global Express NZ in Blenheim is seeking a Class 5 Driver to join the local team to assist with collections and deliveries for a key customer. Shift: Monday – Friday, 7.00am – 3.30pm, minimum 40 hours per week, with a focus on safe handling and on-time deliveries.

The role emphasizes loading/unloading freight safely, scanning, and adherence to safety procedures across NZ roads. A forklift license and DG endorsement are preferred; training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have Full NZ Class 5 License.
• Forklift License with OSH cert is preferred; training available.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement preferred; training available.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely by hand, or with forklift when required.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures.
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.

We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver to join our Blenheim branch to assist with collections and deliveries with one of our key customers. Shift: Monday – Friday 7.00am – 3.30pm, minimum 40 hours per week

About the role

Mō te tūranga Doing the metro bulk delivery run throughout the town, this role is responsible for assisting with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve our target delivery goals.

What you'll do

• Load and unload freight safely by hand, or with forklift when required.
• Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures.
• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.
