Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Class 5 Linehaul Driver for the Invercargill branch. The role involves night shifts starting around 8pm, with a route from Invercargill to Hampden for unit swap, then back to the Invercargill depot.

You will load and unload freight, ensure safe handling, and scan all freight. You’ll deliver and pick up on time, participate in safety processes, and maintain a clean vehicle.

Qualifications

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License - must have.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement – must have.
• Forklift License with OSH cert – must have.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• B-Train and Truck and Trailer driving experience on New Zealand roads.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely.
• Scan all freight and ensure accuracy.
• Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• Adhere to safety processes and procedures.
• Operate vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• Keep vehicle clean and tidy inside and out.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

We're on the hunt for a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our Invercargill branch.

Shift: Monday – Friday, approx. 8pm start with minimum 10 hour shift

About the role - Mō tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. You’ll be starting the night in Invercargill, going through to Hampden for a unit swap, then back through to the Invercargill depot.

What you'll do:

• - Load and reload freight safely.
• - Ensure freight is handled without damage.
• - Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it.
• - Deliver and pickup on time and in full.
• - Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
• - Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• - Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out.
