Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking reliable Class 5 night-shift drivers to join a leading New Zealand-owned transport and distribution company. You will deliver grocery and chilled products to supermarkets and depots across the lower North Island, operating a Class 5 automatic semi-truck and completing scheduled runs.

You will plan routes, manage delivery paperwork, reverse into loading bays, and use an electric pallet jack. Night shift role, approx.

Qualifications

• Full New Zealand Class 5 Licence is required.
• Proven NZ Class 5 driving experience is required.
• Ability to operate an automatic semi-truck.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check.

Responsibilities

Looking for reliable Class 5 night-shift drivers to join a leading New Zealand-owned transport and distribution company. About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering grocery and chilled products to supermarkets and depots throughout the lower North Island. This role will involve:

• Safely operating a Class 5 automatic semi-truck.
• Completing scheduled delivery runs and planning efficient routes.
• Managing delivery paperwork and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Reversing trucks into loading and unloading bays.
• Using an electric pallet jack to move palletised product where required.
• Completing some manual handling, including unloading milk crates depending on the run.
• Night shift role and approx. 12 hours

Days & Hours

• A variety of shifts available across Monday to Sunday.
• Saturday availability required.
• Approximately 2-4 shifts per week for casual positions, depending on your availability.
• Permanent opportunities may also be available.
• Overtime opportunities available.
