Job summary

Motion Recruitment in Christchurch, New Zealand is seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers to join our client network across Canterbury. Opportunities for both day and night shift work, with emphasis on safe, reliable movement of goods.

The role requires a valid Class 5 license, at least 2 years' experience in NZ, and ability to back a B-Train. Competitive hourly rate and regular hours are offered.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years driving Class 5 vehicles in New Zealand.
• Must be able to back a B-Train.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operating Class 5 to transport a variety of goods and materials.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring goods are transported on time and in good condition.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
• Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

About The Role

Motion Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers to join some of our fantastic clients across Christchurch,Canterbury. These are great opportunities for skilled drivers to join established transport operations, with a focus on safe, reliable and efficient movement of goods across the region.

We are also looking for an experienced Class 5 Night Shift Driver to work primarily in the yard. Don't miss out on some great opportunities!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating Class 5 to transport a variety of goods and materials
