Job summary

Allied Concrete Timaru Plant is seeking an experienced Class 4 driver to join our friendly team. You will deliver ready-mix concrete across the Southland region, with hours between 5am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, and occasional early starts.

You’ll be part of a team that prioritizes safety, reliability and exceptional customer service. Applicants must hold a clean Class 4 (or 5) license, be physically fit, and commit to drug and alcohol policy testing.

Qualifications

• Clean current class 4 or 5 driver's license and fit to drive a heavy vehicle.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and policies.
• Familiarity with Road Ranger gearbox operations and safe driving practices.
• Flexible availability across early starts and Saturday shifts.
• Punctual, reliable and presentable for customer-facing work.
• Commitment to strict drug and alcohol testing policies as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete safely and on time to customer sites.
• Load and unload operations, maintain truck cleanliness and condition.
• Adhere to HSE policies and represent Allied Concrete professionally.
