Job summary

Allied Concrete Penrose in Auckland, part of HW Richardson Group, is hiring an experienced Class 4 driver for a full-time role delivering ready-mix concrete across the Auckland region. You’ll join a friendly crew with guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week, a safe working environment, and full uniform and PPE supplied from day one.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability and great customer service, with early starts and varied hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of heavy vehicle driving experience preferred.
• Current NZ Class 4 Driver Licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Willingness to start early and work varied hours.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Class 4 concrete truck safely and efficiently.
• Delivering ready-mix concrete to customer sites across Auckland.
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
