Job summary

Allied Concrete Timaru Plant, part of the HWR Group, is hiring a Class 4 driver to deliver ready-mix concrete across the Southland region from the Timaru plant. This full-time role offers early starts, typically between 5am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, with uniform and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a clean Class 4 or 5 driver's license.
• Committed to health, safety and environmental policies.
• Familiar with Road Ranger gearbox.
• Flexible with working hours, including early starts.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Physically fit and well presented.
• Willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks meet health, safety and environmental policies.
• Load, unload and deliver concrete efficiently to customers' sites.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and good vehicle condition while representing Allied Concrete.
