Qualifications

• Hold a full New Zealand driver's licence, Class 2 preferred.

• Able to perform on-call duties for emergency response.
• Willing to learn RAMM/AWM recording on electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and repair faults on roads such as potholes and drainage blocks.
• Help risk assess and set up safe sites for crew and public.
• Patrol designated roads regularly.
• Ensure efficient use of materials and equipment.
• Work as part of a cohesive team to deliver road maintenance.

The Opportunity |Te kōwhiringa

As a Cyclic Operator for one of the largest infrastructure businesses in New Zealand, you will be responsible for road patrols, maintenance activities and supporting other operations to help deliver a high-quality roading network. You will:

• Identify and repair faults, such as potholes, edge marker post replacement and blocked drainage structures
• Help risk assess and setup safe sites for your crew and the general public
• Patrol designated roads on a regular basis
• Ensure efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
• Work as part of a cohesive team to deliver road maintenance activities

Along with a positive attitude and a commitment to safe workplace practices, we are looking for you to have:

• Full New Zealand Drivers Licence required, Class 2 preferred but can work towards this
• A can-do attitude with a good work ethic
• Demonstrated that you are reliable and dependable
• Show good initiative and be confident in decision-making and problem-solving
• Ability to perform on-call duties as part of our emergency response requirements
• Willingness to learn how to record completed activities on an electronic device (RAMM / AWM)
