Job summary

Purpose Fill Limited in Hamilton seeks an experienced Class 2 Gantry Truck Driver to join the skip bin operations team. You will handle bin deliveries and collections across Waikato, with day shifts and home every night.

We value customer-facing professionalism, safe load management, and reliable attendance. Dispatch handles run-sheets so you can focus on safe, efficient driving, with good pay and stable hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of NZ driving experience in Class 2+ roles.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 gantry trucks for bin deliveries and collections across Waikato.
• Accurate delivery and collection of skip bins in technical locations, protecting customer property.
• Conduct pre-start vehicle checks, report issues, and keep vehicles clean.
• Deliver top-level customer service with clear communication.
• Follow NZTA rules and health & safety protocols.
• Meet daily productivity targets while minimizing risks.
• This is a daytime, local role with consistent hours and no entry-level expectation.

Job Type

Full-time / Permanent (6am-4pm shifts, Monday-Friday, with rostered Saturday mornings (overtime)

Pay Rate

$29-$33 per hour based on experience.

Location

Hamilton base, with daily routes across Hamilton and the greater Waikato region.

The Role

We're seeking experienced, professional Class 2 Truck Drivers who excel not just at driving, but at being outstanding communicators and customer facing representatives. This opportunity is for drivers who appreciate consistent hours, variety and day-time work - you'll be going somewhere different every day but home every night. Our dispatch team handles driver run-sheets letting you focus on safe, productive and efficient driving. Technical ability is essential - skills like reversing into tricky locations, loading/unloading skips bins, professional load management while assessing hazards and risks is a must. Productivity in this role is key. The more efficient and productive you can become as a driver, the more we will reward you for your efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 2 gantry trucks for bin deliveries and collections across Waikato.
• Accurate delivery and collection of skip bins in some technical / demanding locations, focusing on care for customers property and company equipment.
• Conduct pre-start vehicle checks, report issues promptly and keep your designated vehicle clean and ready to work.
• Deliver top-levelcustomer service -clear communication and professionalism on every job.
• Follow all company policies, NZTA rules, and health & safety protocols without exception.
• Meet daily productivity targets while minimising risks or damages.
• This is not an entry-level or short-term role - it's for drivers who value consistency and are committed to excelling in Class 2 work, setting an example for those around you.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' proven NZ driving experience in Class 2+ roles (essential) - ideally in delivery, waste, or transport positions with a track record of reliability.
• Valid full New Zealand Class 2 driver's licence with a clean record - no overseas applicants or sponsorship seekers will be considered.
• Background in demanding roleslike line-haul, night shifts, or heavy paperwork? Perfect-you'll recognize how great this daytime, local role is.
• Physically fit for manual tasks, with a strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and policy-compliant - we expect full commitment to shifts and company standards.
• Commitment to productivity and service - delivering on our clients expectations.
• Pass pre-employment drug test, medical, and police check.
• Bonus: Experience with gantry trucks, crane trucks and understanding of the waste industry.
