Job summary

OneStaff is assisting a NZ-owned recycling business in Hastings to fill a full-time Class 2 driver position. You will drive on set daily routes, perform pre-start inspections, and stay active throughout the day while adhering to safety protocols.

The role offers regular daytime hours, a reliable work schedule, and on-the-job training with PPE provided. You will be part of a supportive team focused on keeping New Zealand clean and green.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 driver's license.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Strong reliability and work ethic.
• Willingness to pitch in and help across tasks.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 truck on set daily routes.
• Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections.
• Get in and out of the truck as needed while staying active.
• Follow health and safety procedures on every job.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Driving a Class 2 truck on set daily routes
• Carrying out pre-start vehicle inspections
• Jumping in and out of the truck as needed (you'll stay fit!)
• Practicing sound health and safety on every job

What You'll Bring:

• A valid Class 2 driver's license
• Good level of physical fitness and willingness to pitch in
• Strong reliability and a great work ethic
• Confidence to raise issues professionally and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
