Job summary

WasteCo in Timaru is seeking a Litter bin Driver (Class 2) to join our busy frontline team. This role involves driving, waste collection, and frequent interactions with customers; early starts and a hands-on approach are required.

You will operate rear-load and front-load bins, perform pre-start checks, complete paperwork, and follow NZ transport rules. A Class 1 and Class 2 licence, a safety-focused mindset, good communication, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Location: Timaru

Are you an experienced driver who enjoys being active, working outdoors and delivering great service to customers?

WasteCo is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our team in Timaru. This is a varied, hands-on role involving driving, waste collection, general labouring and regular interaction with customers.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and reliable collection services to customer sites while operating a range of collection vehicles and equipment. This role includes early morning starts and may require flexibility to meet operational requirements.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating rear-load compactors and emptying bins
