Hayes Metals in Auckland is seeking a Class 5 truck driver with HIAB, gantry or skip-bin experience to join our busy recycling operation. If you're confident navigating tight sites and ready for steady hours, this role could be perfect for you.

We offer a consistent Monday to Friday schedule (no weekends) and a permanent full-time role with hours guaranteed, modern trucks, and a strong team culture. You will conduct collections, deliver and remove bins, load HIAB, and work across multiple sites

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NZ Class 5 licence (minimum).
• Permanent work rights in New Zealand.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Class 5 Truck and Trailer collections, including occasional manual lifting
• Delivering, exchanging and removing hook bins and skip bins
• Loading onsite with HIAB
• Keeping physically active, this role involves more than just driving
• Loading / unloading across multiple sites safely and efficiently
• Communicating effectively and courteously with our clients

Job description

We are looking for a Class 5 truck driver preferably with HIAB, gantry or skip-bin experience to join our busy recycling operation. We operate hook bin, skip bin and flat bed trucks. If you're confident navigating tight sites and ready for steady hours - this role could be perfect for you.

We collect scrap metal and deliver our finished products in the Auckland region but with regular longer haul deliveries / collections around the North Island. Applicants must be prepared for overnight stays when required. If you are looking for a job where no two days are the same then this could be the job for you.
