Job summary

Downer NZ in Auckland is seeking Class 2 and 4 Driver Operators to join the Wainui team. You will be involved in civil works, operating heavy machinery, and preparing sites for maintenance on unsealed roads, footpaths, kerb and channel, and landscaping.

If you are physically fit, enjoy outdoor work, and can work both with a team and independently, this role offers steady outdoor work with local civil projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Must have a Full Class 2-4 Driver License.
• Experience in road construction and civil works.
• Physically fit and enjoy outdoor work.
• Team player and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of plant including tippers, rollers and loaders.
• Support maintenance on unsealed roads, footpaths, kerb and channel, and landscaping.
• Assist civil projects and work across Wainui region.
• Work outdoors on-site and stay active throughout the day.

The Opportunity

We are looking for Class 2 and 4 Drive Operators to join our Wainui team. Working for one of the largest infrastructure business' in New Zealand, you will be involved in exciting projects requiring you to pick up civil work, the operation of heavy machinery and preparation of sites. You will be tasked with undertaking a range of civil activities, primarily supporting Maintenance work on unsealed roads, footpaths, kerb and channel and landscaping. You will operate a range of plant including tippers, rollers and loaders.

If you are physically fit and enjoy spending your days outdoors and on your feet, this could be the position for you.

You'll be a team player and confident operating independently as required. You'll also have:

• A Full Class 2 - 4 Driver License
• Have practical work experience in road construction and civil
• A passion for working outdoors and keeping physically fit
