Job summary

McLarens is seeking a proficient Claims Technician to join our Hamilton team. You will work with Loss Adjusters and external suppliers to progress insurance claims from intake to settlement, with exposure to both domestic and commercial claims.

The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of claims experience.
• Experience building effective relationships with brokers, insurers and suppliers.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Loss Adjusters and external suppliers to progress claims to settlement.
• Coordinate across domestic and commercial claims while maintaining service quality.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with stakeholders throughout the claims lifecycle.

Claims Technician - Hamilton, New Zealand

We are looking for a proficient and highly organised Claims Technician with 2-3 years of claims experience to join our Hamilton team. The role will work with Loss Adjusters and external suppliers from around the country progressing insurance claims through to settlement. Experience across both domestic and commercial claims would be highly advantageous.

You will be passionate about helping people, have an inquisitive mind and desire a challenging and rewarding role. You will have a track record for establishing and managing effective relationships with brokers, insurers and suppliers along with:
