Job summary

TLC Insurance Limited in Tauranga seeks a Claims Specialist to join our Head Office. You will manage claims from first notification to settlement, validate coverage, assess liability and maintain reserves, while resolving inquiries and contributing to team productivity.

TLC Insurance is a leading Heavy Machinery insurance underwriting agency. Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Specialist to join our Head Office in Tauranga. This is an opportunity to make your mark within the insurance industry with the ability to further grow your career with our dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

Lodgement and management of claims from first notification of loss through to settlement within Delegated Authority Limit

Validating coverage, assessing liability and establishing accurate reserves

Resolving customer and external inquiries

Reviewing, resolving and proactively finalising claims

Contributing to team productivity

Additional tasks to support the overall claims team as required
